In June 2019, 30 creators gathered in the old Berlin distillery to showcase immersive experiences. Our team of six was given 48 hours to design a 20-minute experience for which tickets had already been sold out. We created multiple prototypes, including a spiritual cult, and ran guerilla testing before arriving at the final design. Playing on elements of uncertainty and humor, we created an experience around innovation theatre that takes place in many design conferences.

– Pre-experience: level-setting, during which consent, safety, game mechanics were established, volunteers were invited to be panelists
– Entry into the main experience, where everyone was issued credentials, & our volunteers were brought on stage as expert panelists
– The game itself, which consisted of a familiar conference q&a structure in which every guest was required to use certain trigger words such as wellbeing, experience, immersion, groundbreaking, personalized in every contribution to the discussion
